2013 Bowman Streets Tomorrow!  The buzz and anticipation of one of the biggest product launches of the year.  It is the 65 ^th Anniversary of Bowman Baseball so we have an "oversized" celebration planned.  Last week we showcased the exclusive 65th Anniversary "Best Bowman Players of all-time" Refractors, but a 65 ^th anniversary deserves more than just that.

For anyone who participated last year or who’s read a Beckett magazine in the last month, the following announcement likely comes as no surprise: Panini America’s wildly popular Father’s Day hobby shop promotion is making a triumphant return in 2013. And this year, company officials are enlisting the help of some bona fide blasts from the past in an effort to make the nationwide wrapper-redemption program another one for the record books — and the memory books.

Just as it has done for Black Friday, Panini America has turned Father’s Day into something of a national trading card holiday, driving thousands of collectors into hobby shops across the country during Father’s Day weekend to celebrate the true bonding experience of collecting cards. That phenomenon promises to unfold again next month.

For its 2013 Father’s Day offering, Panini America has created a 44-card base set that includes 22 Rookie Cards devoted to all four major sports that are sequentially numbered to 499. Motown Madness - Seeing Red

February 28, 2013 will mark the release date of In The Game's tribute to the Detroit Red Wing Franchise - Motown Madness.

As we work diligently on this project our entire staff is "seeing red", Red Wing Red.

In each box of Motown Madness collectors will find 5 Premium Base Cards, 4 Autograph Cards, 2 Authentic Game-Used Memorabilia Cards and a Patch of Honor Insert Card. That's right 12 cards per box and seven of them are "hits".

Our NFL football business is off to a strong start, our  initial products have performed admirably and we are just starting to warm up!  Triple Threads Football releases on Friday 11/23, the product is loaded with strong content and we are about to turn up the heat another NOTCH!

We have a history of creating special cards in our products that generate amazing buzz and value and we are about to drop something VERY special into Triple Threads FB, Topps Supreme FB, Valor FB and 5-Star Football! 

We put a special Cal Ripken "Touched by Greatness" card in Archives Baseball that created much buzz.  The card included Cal's autograph as well an impression of his actual inked handprint.  We are now ready to blow this idea up and go Prime Time with our NFL products!

Although we are in the midst of a lockout, hockey fans seem to really be enjoying 2012-13 NHL Upper Deck Series One. And with all autograph content live in packs (ZERO autograph redemptions), who can blame them? There is more to the product besides autograph inserts however with great photography, awesome inserts and some very special rookie redemption cards.

Upper Deck included three different rookie redemption cards into the product to enhance the value of the product during the lockout. The biggest question collectors seem to have is what are they cards and what will they be good for. There are three rookie redemption cards included in 2012-13 NHL Upper Deck Series One good for Rookie #1, Rookie #2 and Rookie #3. These will not be Young Guns rookies cards or be numbered part of the set. Additionally they will not feature autographs or memorabilia. They will be their own insert set and what really makes them special is how rare they are. They fall 1:517 hobby packs, 1:7,232 retails packs, 1:40,320 retail tins and 1:16,416 retail blaster box packs. Who the players will be however is completely contingent on what happens with this labor dispute. Once the NHL is playing hockey again, these three cards will be good for the top three rookies at that time as determined by Upper Deck’s Product Development Team. We will announce which players they are once that decision has been finalized.

One of the most anticipated products of the year, 2012 Topps Chrome Football, is set to hit shelves next Friday November 9th!  This years hobby product promises to be one of the best ever, loaded with on-card autographs, autographed patch cards, dual autographe and triple autographed cards!  In addition the uber popular '65 Tall Boys, the iconic '84 design  and classic 1957 card have all been chromed and signed on card!  Topps Chrome is driven by rookies and this years rookie class have been outstanding, this products subject list is loaded (see attached subject list) and top rookies including RG3, Andrew Luck, Ryan Tannehill, Trent Richardson, Doug Martin, Brandon Weeden, Justin Blackmon, Kendall Wright and many others have all already hard signed their Chrome cards and they look great!
